DIY: Beauty Treatments!

Who has the time or money to head to the spa or salon ever so often, instead here are some DIY at home treatments that will do the trick and won't break the bank!

✰Reduce Under Eye Puffiness
Buy Ice Tea and Green Tea and mix a batch to keep in the fridge. Soak a couple of cotton rounds in the tea and lay them on your eyes. The caffeine helps to shrink the appearance of the blood vessels, and the antioxidants help eliminate inflammation.

✰Get Shiny Hair
A super-easy hair mask includes egg yolk (for protein), avocado and olive oil (to nourish), and conditioner and mayo to naturally detangle and restore your strands. These items can be found everywhere and are easily affordable for everyone.
Ingredients:
1 egg yolk
1 Tbsp mayonnaise
1/4 of an avocado
2 Tbsp olive oil
A small handful of conditioner

Mix all of the ingredients together, then apply the mixture to your hair for an hour or two. Then, simply wash it out for soft, shiny, and strong locks!

✰Get Rid of a Zit
Apply a dollop of toothpaste to the pimple overnight. The clay and mint in toothpaste help to shrink and dry up the offending zit, without causing irritation or scars.

✰Get Flawless Skin
When you're stressed, skin can look red and blotchy. Combat ruddiness with mashed bananas, which contain vitamins A and E (which are great for treating flakiness and toning down redness). The heavy cream in this mask also contains elastin to leave your skin feeling soft and supple.
Ingredients:
1 Banana mashed well
2 Tbsp heavy cream
1.5 Tbsp honey
1.5 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp of water
Mix this into a nice mousse. Add the water last—a little at a time to get a nice consistency. Apply to the face; leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse.

✰Make Your Own Cheek and Lip Stain
Create your own makeupcolor, so it's perfect for everyday wear.
Ingredients:
1 small beet, peeled and sliced
2 Tbsp coconut oil
1 Tsp raw honey
lip balm pot
Instructions:
Place water in the bottom part of a double boiler and bring to a boil. In the top part, place coconut oil and beets. Let simmer for 20 minutes before removing from heat. Stir in honey and let cool to room temperature. Remove beet slices and transfer mixture to a small lip balm pot. Store in the fridge for up to 4 weeks.
